Digger Lakes Persey’s pool
This 3.8 acre Devon venue is one of the best run venues in the uk offering the best day ticket fishing in the county by far, run by one of the very best in the business Ben Gratwicke. The main criteria behind this culm valley complex is quality fishing offering and accommodating all fishing disciplines and with the quality of the hand-picked fish present on site and beautiful surroundings it’s truly a lovely habitat to pass away the hours. Persey’s is packed with islands and features to offer the angler unusual options in each swim.
Walthamstow Complex Reservoir number 1
This famous 10 lake complex right in the heart of London caters for any sort of angler from prolific venues to big low stock waters. The number 1 reservoir is prolific with specimens from all species present with carp up to high 30s. The fishery will really be a jewel in the crown for Thames water in the coming years with the new guidance of the Thames Water’s fishery manager Will Barnard at the helm expect the fishery to produce quality fishing for all in an urban habitat.
Airfield Lakes Mustang lake
Nestled in the Waveney valley in glorious Norfolk, this complex of lakes is set in tranquil private farmland with some of the best thoroughbred carp stocked in the UK. This venue will be another quality run habitat for years to come under Rich Wilby’s management. The venue has been stocked with hand-picked quality stock that gives the angler many differing varieties to target and appreciate. It’s got a vast stock of 20s and 30s that offer any visitors a real chance of a day ticket biggie.
Thorpe lea
A well run 18 acre venue in Surrey with great amenities renowned for being very good throughout the winter with multiple fish catches of 20lbers possible. Very possible to have a double figures catches throughout the summer and somewhere where the more effort you put in the more fish you will catch. The stock has grown well and the venue now harbours good fish up to 35lb.
Acorn Carp Fishery
A complex of lakes near Bristol run by Adrian Bartlett with son Mark Bartlett, It offers the beginner a wealth of opportunities to choose from, the amenities are great with café’s and toilets on site, there are some many lakes to select from you are spoilt for choice with the quality of the fishing, and you will always find one that suits your style of angling. It holds a great head of fish in all the lakes with fish up to 35lb+.
Todber Manor
Another premium complex of 7 lakes run by the Candy family in deepest darkest Dorset that cater for the many differing disciplines of angling, with carp, match, catfish and pleasure lakes there’s something for everyone. The fish are really piling on the weight and the complex will have a head of fish to be revered in years to come. There’s a well-stocked tackle shop on site for ease to get those last few bits before angling.
Emperor Dan’s pool lake
This lovely little lake offers sport to the visiting day ticket angler all year round. With the quality of the fish present and stocked sensibly by the owners David and Joanne this venue will be very good option to catch your first specimen fish with the stock presently between 15lb-25lb it’s a good place to visit with quality amenities present also on site of café and tackle shop.
Tri-lakes
Two venues in Hampshire that cater for carp and match fishing alike. The main carp lake being packed full of doubles with the occasional 20lber possible only 2 minutes from Yateley Angling Centre for any of your tackle needs. The main lake offers many features to fish to with islands and snags aplenty. The smaller lake having plenty of pike present for some lure fishing action.
Linear Brasenose 1+2
One of the most well-known fisheries in the UK, the lakes are provided with quality thoroughbred stock and somewhere that is so well run by one of the best Chris Blunt. The stock of these two lakes is impressive and the fish just keep on growing with toilets and showers on site you really will be impressed with your visit to Linear Fisheries attracting anglers from all over such is the quality.
Birds Green Fishery
This Essex complex has 3 lakes on site two being carp lakes, one being match, all are quite small only a couple of acres but is packed full of fish up to just under 30lbs, great place for floater fishing as well having multiple hits of fish off the surface. With a café and tackle shop on site its certainly worth a visit.
